In 2017, Danos is leaner and more efficient than ever. Tough economic times have brought new challenges and opportunities, and Danos continues to refine and improve in order to better serve our customers.
To that end, we are pleased to announce the consolidation of our Larose and Amelia facilities into a single Integrated Services Complex at Amelia. This joining of forces brings together a wider range of services under a single roof, including services not previously available at Amelia like scaffolding and construction services. A single location allows multi-skilled workers to shift quickly and easily between projects, increasing efficiency and decreasing response times.
“The key to our success has always been our ability to meet new challenges and customer needs,” said Paul Danos, executive vice president. “By combining operations at our Amelia complex, we are able to offer our customers the same industry-leading safety, quality and expertise – more efficiently and at a lower cost. That’s a win-win.”
Danos will maintain the Larose facility and equipment so that it can quickly be reactivated when needed. Amelia was selected for the consolidation because of its deep-water access, FTZ status, 367-acre site and its multiple service line offering, including fabrication, coatings, automation, construction, materials management, scaffolding and project management.
The new Integrated Services Complex at Amelia will allow Danos to better align our workforce and resources to match customer project needs. No matter how large or complex the project, lower overhead means we can offer even more competitive pricing to our customers. We think that’s a pretty great way to begin a new year.
